An award winning Director/Choreographer/Playwright/Educator MICHAEL SUSKO's work has taken him around the globe. Credits include work for Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre, Theatre Under the Stars, Casa Manana, Cider Mill Playhouse, Theatre by the Sea, PaperMill Theatre, Westchester Broadway, Arizona Broadway and Arkansas Repertory. For twelve years he served as resident director of the New Bedford Festival Theatre where he has helmed a variety of plays, including their Moss Hart Award winning productions of HAIRSPRAY and LES MISERABLES. In NYC, his work both as writer and director has been seen at Off-Broadway's THE BIGOT, F*CK, MARRY, KILL, CROSSING OVER, the Midtown International Fringe Festival, Alternative Theatre Company, Network Theatre Company, Equity Library Theatre and The New Short Play Festival where he is the current Artistic Director.
As a performer, Michael has been seen in many Broadway national tours, European tours, and countless regional appearances including stints at The Goodspeed Opera House, Paper Mill Playhouse, Walnut Street Theatre, Bristol Riverside, Ogunquit Playhouse, Sacramento Music Circus, Pittsburgh CLO just to name a few. He has also appeared in many film, television shows and commercials.
As an educator, Michael taught theatre at Chadron State College in Nebraska and Southern Arkansas University. He also teaches playwriting and dialects at ATC Studios in Clifton, NJ. Michael holds an MFA in Playwriting from Goddard College, and a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory. He is a member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA, SDC, and The Dramatists Guild
